TESOL Aims and Objectives
The main aim of this course is to provide a basic introduction to the teaching of English to speakers of other languages. It allows graduates of the course to be officially registered as a TESOL professional as well as opening up opportunities to teach TESOL in quality institutions around the world. The general objectives of the course require the student to be able to demonstrate a general understanding of, and familiarity with, the world of teaching English to speakers of other languages including general terminology, the profession's qualifications, further training options and career opportunities. The course enables the student demonstrate a basic understanding of the communicative approach to teaching English to speakers of other languages.
TESOL Requirements
The examination for the VirtuKno Preliminary Certificate of Educational Studies in TESOL consists of four units. Candidates are required to successfully complete all assignments contained in each unit of the distance training program.
